Question by Skittles: Why is Chile’s death toll so much lower than Haiti even though the Earthquake was worse?
It seems to be hovering around 200 right now. I’m sure there will be more, but it seems nothing like Haiti’s. What was the difference?

Stricter building codes, more industrialized, and the earthquake happened about a day ago. There may still be dead bodies.
